Bernie Williams Wine

Williams is a gifted jazz guitarist who studied classical guitar since his youth in the Bronx and Puerto Rico, and is also an avid wine drinker, passionate about the artistry of winemaking.

"We invited Bernie up to taste some white and red barrel samples and I was amazed how much he knew about wine," said Millbrook's winemaker, Ian Bearup.

"We tasted many varietals and blends together and kicked around the idea of making a red wine to launch our 2022 Jazz in the Vineyard season. That's when "Bernie's Blend" was born!"

This dynamic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zinfandel was crafted by Bernie Williams and Millbrook Winery's winemaking team. The wine exhibits rich aromas of black currant, anise, graphite and mint. The textured mouthfeel has weight throughout the mid-palate transitioning to a mouthwatering acidity with soft tannins.

A portion of the wine sale proceeds will be donated by Williams to the NAMM Foundation's SupportMusic Coalition, which unites non-profit organizations, schools, and businesses working to assure that music education is supported in communities everywhere, and that all children have the opportunity to learn and grow with music.
