“A Wink and A Smile” plays jazz and Latin standards, featuring classic vocal favorites. Laura Evans (piano and vocals) leads this trio with Bob Lavalle (vocals and percussion) and guest double bassist Cameron Brown.

Blue in Green Jazz Quartet
The Blue in Green Jazz Quartet (trumpet, guitar, upright bass & drums) plays classic jazz. Made up of experienced, schooled players, the Quartet draws its repertoire from Bird, Sonny Rollins, Clifford Brown, Monk, Miles and others. Add in some Latin tunes and personal favorites and you’ve got a sophisticated yet accessible sound enjoyed by all ages.

The Larry Ham Quartet
Pianist, composer, and arranger Larry Ham is a veteran New York sideman, performing, touring, and recording with many great jazz artists. His own recordings have also received international critical acclaim: “Presence” a recent collaboration with saxophonist Woody Witt, “Carousel” featuring his own compositions and trio arrangements, and a solo piano release “Just Me, Just You…” on Arbors Jazz Records. Mary Ann Palermo is a long-time singer, songwriter and recording artist versed in many genres, but with an underlying love of Jazz. She leads a thrilling and versatile ensemble of the most talented musicians in the Berkshires and beyond, performing a captivating performance of some of the most famous American Songbook Jazz standards Smooth jazz and Jazz fusion. True North Jazz Project
The True North Jazz Project is led by saxophonist Joe North and is backed by Ryan Cerullo on piano, Buddy Griffith on bass, and Ryan Odell on drums. The band is made up of musicians from across the Hudson Valley who have devoted their lives to playing and teaching music. The band specializes in bringing a diverse range of genres to their performances, from bebop and pop to 90’s classic rock to Klezmer. Between the four of them, they have had individual opportunities to open for Maceo Parker, The Klezmatics, Clarence Penn, and have played with world-famous musicians such as Pee Wee Ellis, John Abercrombie, Joe Lovano, David Amram, Ed Xiques, Joe Locke, and Yo-Yo-Ma. The quartet’s performances will take you on a musical journey that will leave you wanting more.

The Lucky 5
The Lucky 5 is a hard-swinging jazz band that blends 30’s and 40’s style swing with gypsy and Parisian flavors to create a unique blend of music that stands by itself. Combining originals and creative reworks of old standards, The Lucky 5 continues to be a favorite among music lovers young and old alike.
The band is comprised of highly seasoned touring musicians, having been part of The Hunger Mountain Boys, Lauren Ambrose & The Leisure Class, and traveled, performed and recorded with artists such as Neko Case, Iris Dement, Bobby Previte, Del McCoury, Jim Lauderdale, just to name a few.
The Lucky 5 brings verve, high energy, and an unpredictable impulse to the tradition of jazz from the 20's, 30's and 40's, grooving deeply, and keeping feet moving on the dance floor.

Out of the Box Jazz
Out of the Box Jazz is a contemporary jazz band that was formed in 2007 by bassist Michael Hurt and pianist Larry Gravett. Drummer Gary Nowik completes the trio. Out of the Box is the 2011 Winner of Downtown Albany Jazz Fest Competition and performed as a seven piece band.

A Jazz piano trio featuring the music of New York City based American/English pianist, bassist and composer, Howard Britz, whose music is melodic, open hearted, emotional and feel good. Drawing from Jazz, Blues, Afro-Cuban, Gospel and Brazilian traditions with unique compositions that tell musical stories and bring listeners into an intriguing world of ideas, sound, groove and feeling.

The 3 B’s Plus 2
An Organ Quintet, The 3 B’s plus 2, with Paul Bollenback (guitar), Pat Bianchi (organ), Eric Alexander or Vincent Herring (saxophone), and Paul Rossman (percussion). Grammy Nominated Richard Baratta was born into a musically oriented family in Poughkeepsie, NY in 1950 . He began his musical journey at the age 12, playing saxophone, flute and drums, and eventually, exclusively drums. He played mostly jazz all through his teens. An opportunity presented itself in the winter of 2016 that changed everything. He decided to return to his roots and main love and began performing music again, while continuing to produce films.
From Baratta’s lips, “I’m telling you, I’m in heaven. I just want to keep it going. A light has gone off in my head and the music seems clearer and fresher than ever.”

Daniel Bennett Group
New York saxophonist Daniel Bennett has been hailed as one of the most original and unpredictable musical voices of his generation. The Daniel Bennett Group is celebrating the release of their 9th studio album, 'New York Nerve.' The Boston Globe described Bennett's music as, "a mix of Jazz, Folk and Minimalism." The music shifts rapidly from jazz fusion to American folk music. Daniel Bennett is joined by master percussionist Koko Bermejo (drums/keyboard) and acclaimed bassist Kevin Hailey. Daniel Bennett has been featured in Timeout New York, Baltimore Sun, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, and NPR. The UK Jazz Journal called Bennett "an outspoken voice of hope" during the COVID 19 pandemic. Daniel Bennett Group was recently voted 'Best New Jazz' in Hot House Magazine. Daniel Bennett is a touring woodwind clinician and associate director of the New York Jazz Academy in Times Square. Daniel Bennett is also an active woodwind doubler in the New York City theater scene. Bennett orchestrated the music for 'Whitman at the Whitney,' a multimedia theater production at the Whitney Museum. Daniel Bennett played woodwinds in 'Blank! The Musical,' the first fully improvised musical to launch on a national stage. The New York Times called the show, "Witty, Likable and Ludicrous!" Daniel Bennett's genre-bending sound has captivated audiences throughout the world.

No outside food or beverages will be allowed in reserved concert seating areas. Food will be available from the evening Food Trucks or Taproom Cheese plates. Millbrook wine will be available
by the glass or bottle.
No outside food or beverages are permitted during show time. For those interested in taking part in a tasting, please note that on Jazz Nights, the last tasting of the day will be offered at 4pm.
Before the Show
Come early to visit the Food Trucks and order one of the many Jazz Night Specials and pick up your chilled bottle of Millbrook wine. Wine is also available by the glass. The Tasting Room will be open for business during showtime, but the last winery tasting prior to the show starts at 4:00 pm.
Rain Policy
In the event of inclement weather the concert will be subject to a rain delay. In the event that even after this delay the concert cannot go on refunds will be made to all paid jazz tickets. Rain cancellations will be made by 2pm the day of the concert. Email notification will be sent out if the concert is cancelled.
